Construction data entry automation

If your PMs are typing the same information into Procore, SharePoint, and Viewpoint. I can make that stop.

01 / The Pain

“The same job typed three times.”

Lead PM, $50M multifamily project

That’s how a lead PM on a $50M project described his week to me. Information entered into Procore, again into a cover sheet, again into Bluebeam: because none of the tools talk to each other, so his people had become the bridge.

Every construction company runs some version of this. Meeting minutes live in one place, daily reports in another, submittal status in a third. Documents get manually copied between Procore and SharePoint because “everyone names things differently.” Someone exports a CSV just to import it somewhere else.

None of this is anyone’s job. It’s just where the gaps are, and your most expensive people are the ones filling them.

02 / What I Connect

Procore ↔ SharePoint sync

Submittal logs, RFIs, daily reports: synced automatically between platforms. Consistent naming, no exports, no re-uploads.

Meeting minutes to action items

Notes captured, action items extracted, assignments routed to the right person in the right system. Nobody re-types anything.

Daily report assembly

Site photos, weather data, crew counts, equipment logs: pulled from where they already exist and assembled into the daily report.

Whatever gap your stack actually has

Procore to Viewpoint. Bluebeam to SharePoint. Spectrum to a spreadsheet the CFO refuses to give up. Every company’s stack is a little different, so this is custom integration, not a plugin I resell.

03 / How It Works
01

I map where data enters and exits. During discovery I trace every system your team touches: where information originates, where it needs to go, and where a human is currently the copy machine.

02

I build the connections. API-driven integrations that move data between your existing tools automatically. No new software. No new logins. Your team keeps working exactly the way they work now, minus the re-typing.

03

I verify with your team before anything goes live. Your people confirm the data lands in the right place, in the right format, with the right names. If the superintendent hates it, I fix it before launch, not after.

04 / Works Underneath
ProcoreBluebeamSharePointViewpoint / SpectrumExcelOutlook

If it has an API, and almost everything does now, I can probably work underneath it. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you on the first call instead of six weeks in.

05 / Where This Came From

Your stack determines the savings

This is the same automation layer from my multifamily case study: the engagement where I cut submittal processing 70% and change order processing 70%, measured on 3,500+ real documents. Cross-system data entry was the third pain point that PM named, and it’s the one that varies most from company to company.

That’s why this page has fewer big numbers than the other two: your stack determines the savings, and I’d rather measure yours than quote someone else’s.

Frequently asked

Is this different from Procore’s built-in integrations?+

Yes. Off-the-shelf connectors handle the generic 80%. I build the 20% that’s specific to how your company actually works: your naming conventions, your folder structures, your approval chains. That last 20% is usually where the re-typing lives.

Do we need IT involvement?+

Minimal. I need API access to the systems involved and a point of contact who can confirm data is landing correctly. No servers, no installs, no data leaving your systems.

What does this cost?+

It depends entirely on the gap: which is why this one starts with a 20-minute call to scope it. If the gap is small enough that you could close it with an off-the-shelf tool, I’ll tell you that and point you to the tool.

What if our stack is a mess?+

Every stack is a mess. That’s not a disqualifier: it’s the reason this service exists. The discovery call is me mapping your mess, free, whether or not you hire me.

Describe the gap. I’ll tell you honestly whether it can be closed.

Every company has a slightly different stack. Book a 20-minute call and I’ll map your specific cross-system friction. If the honest answer is “buy a $50/month tool instead of hiring me,” that’s the answer you’ll get.
